And, We’re Off!!!!!

TriDistrict CAPS courses in Healthcare, Transportation, and Business & Entrepreneurship have begun for the 2020-2021 academic year. Like schools across the country, and across our CAPS Network, it’s a fall like no other.

Students in our Transportation and Business & Entrepreneurship programs are starting the year in a hybrid model. Students are assigned to either a “Cohort A” or a “Cohort B” group. Students in these classes attend class at our partner sites (Evolve Workplace for Business & Entrepreneurship; North American Trailer for Transportation) according to the following schedule:

Cohort A: In class, on-site on Mondays and Tuesdays from 12:30-3pm, and Wednesdays through Fridays are Distance Learning Days.

Cohort B: Monday through Wednesdays are Distance Learning Days, and students are in class, on-site on Thursdays and Fridays.

Our Healthcare students have started the year in a full Distance Learning format, through Friday September 25th. Our hope is that beginning on Monday, September 28th, our Healthcare students will be able to begin class in a hybrid format as well. Due to limitations in space at Training Haus, and the organizational changes they needed to make to accommodate COVID-19 procedures, we will be at an alternate site for the foreseeable future.

TriDistrict CAPS continues to support the health, safety, and participation of all it’s students and partners, and all sites follow local, state, and CDC guidelines for cleaning, mask-wearing, and social distancing.

TriDistrict CAPS continues to see partnership and collaboration for the authentic, profession-based learning opportunities it gives its students, and is currently seeking speakers and presenters for the fall semester, and internship host sites for the spring semester.
